Blockader is a fast-paced, challenging 2D roguelite arena survival shooter where your mission is to survive increasingly stronger waves of enemies between runs. Do not get hit too much, or your run may end quickly. Luckily, the game offers multiple upgrade options to improve both offense and defense capabilities. Let’s step into combat and beat any waves closing in.

Survive Waves of Enemies in Blockader & Grow Stronger Through Upgrades

In the game, your characters are in a ring, with waves of enemies closing in from all directions. Be careful with the strong ranged sniper standing behind them as well! Colliding with any of these tiny enemies or getting hit by the sniper’s fire costs you a life, and running out of lives means instant game over.

Clear all enemies daring to step in while dodging incoming attacks

You do not need to manually aim and shoot at enemies, since your gun auto-fires at the nearest threats. All you need to do is move around the ring to avoid colliding with any of them and the fire from outside the ring. Use your reflexes to handle the hordes until no one is left.

Upgrade strategically and face tougher waves ahead

In Blockader, you are given upgrade cards by clearing the waves and collecting stars. Pick one to power up and develop your character's skills and abilities, ready to encounter the next waves with crowded enemies awaiting. You don't need to rush; consider each upgrade option and its effect carefully and select ones that suit your playstyle. More importantly, do not consider your upgrade options to be separate choices; think of them as parts of a larger strategy.

Purchase gear and grow your skill tree

Spend your earned stars on offense, defense, and utility gear to power up your character’s abilities even further. Each has its own effects, so, again, pick ones that match your strategy and playstyle. Blockader also has a skill tree; use your stars to unlock your preferred skills and branches.
