What is Retro Bowl?

New Star Games' iPhone and Android app Retro Bowl is an 8-bit American football game. Poki and Kongregate also provide browser versions. 

As the group's general manager in Retro Bowl, the player oversees its violation. The game also includes managing an American football team, including dealing and cutting players, permitting free agents, keeping morale, composing players, and more. All teams are based on NFL teams in real life, but Retro Bowl designs a similar jersey and uses the city's name instead of the team's name to avoid copyright issues.

How to play

Select a team to play and a rival. You can choose from default teams or create your own including players, stadiums, and plays.

The game starts after the teams are chosen. Manage your squad and score touchdowns while defending the endzone.

Use intuitive on-screen controls for player movement and plays. 

Outsmart and outscore your opponent in touchdowns to win. Challenges and milestones unlock bonuses and power-ups.

Winning unlocks additional teams, stadiums, and plays. Compete in tournaments and climb leaderboards to show off your talents.
